Challenges

Pick a length. Show up for it.

Dumbly's challenges give your training a start date, a finish line and a plan for every day in between.

Challenge lengths

About a month

30days

Build the habit

Short enough to see the end from day one. A good first challenge if you're new to strength training or getting back into it.

Commitment
One month of planned workout and rest days
Good for
Starting out, restarting, testing a routine
Two months

60days

Make it routine

Long enough for training to become a regular part of your week rather than something you have to plan around.

Commitment
Two months of planned workout and rest days
Good for
Turning a good start into a steady habit
Four months

120days

Go the distance

A full season of training. For people who know they want a long-term structure and are ready to stick with it.

Commitment
Four months of planned workout and rest days
Good for
Long-term structure and steady progression

The number of workouts, session length and level for each challenge are shown in the app before you start, so you can see exactly what you're signing up for.

What progress looks like

One square at a time.

A challenge isn't about one perfect workout. It's about filling in the calendar: training on workout days, resting on rest days, and coming back tomorrow. Every completed day is recorded, so you can see how far you've come.

Days to go

Illustration only, not an app screenshot. Your schedule depends on your challenge and plan.

How to choose.

Pick the challenge you're confident you can finish. You can always start another one afterwards.

  1. If you're new, or it's been a while

Start with 30 days. Finishing a shorter challenge builds more confidence than abandoning a longer one.

  2. If you've trained before and want a routine

Choose 60 days. Enough time to settle into a weekly rhythm.

  3. If you want structure for the season ahead

Commit to 120 days. Plan around holidays and busy weeks before you start.

The point of a challenge

Showing up is the result.

We won't promise you a new body in 30 days. Results depend on your starting point, your effort, your sleep and what you eat. What a challenge can do is give you a plan to follow and a record of every day you followed it.

  • Show up. Train on your workout days and rest on your rest days.
  • Follow the plan. No guessing which exercises to do today.
  • Track your progress. Watch completed days, workouts and minutes add up.

Day one starts today.
